I don't have time to draw any longer Greek mythology comics right now, but here is a little one page thing.
Yep, that's baby Pan. And his mother wasn't really a goat, she was a nymph. But according to The Homeric Hymn to Pan, Hermes worked as a shepherd while he was dating her, so who knows what really happened?
Baby Pan!! ...I think this is perhaps the cutest drawing of him ever.
...The timing of this is hilarious, because ~Cowhat-Ninja is in Italy, right now, seeing all these Roman (and Greek and Roman-copies-of-Greek) antiquities, and yesterday she sent me, like, thirty photographs she'd taken of ancient pornography. Much of which involved goats. Some of which involved Hermes.

Oh, I love ancient pornography, it's so much fun (well, usually it is)! And ancient pornography with goats... Haha, wonderful! I have seen a photograph of a statue of Pan having sex with a goat, but I think that's the only thing involving goats I have seen.
Baby Pan?! Want! I want him! Eeee! I just love this comic. Pan has always been one of my favourites in Greek mythology (but I'm ashamed to say I know very little about him).
Thank you! I like Pan too. He was a very unpretentious god, so he didn't do so many remarkable things. He was quite pleased to live a simple life in Arkadia, where he wandered the mountains, played his pan-pipes and hanged out with nymphs.
Adorable. Plus, there's no arguing with Athena's point. The family is pretty messed up. But, with all the crazy stuff Zeus pulls in the forms of other things, I think there's room for lil Pan.
