Page ten. Once again, my friend Patrik has done a wonderful job in helping me with Hades' palace (based on the reconstructions of the palace in Pylos by Piet de Jong). It is a rather big place, but probably just half as big as Olympus. Minos and Rhadamanthys live there too. And the Erinys. And a bunch of other underworld people.

So they're still in the underworld? Does this Palace ever figure in the myths? I've never heard of it before.
Also, damn, you insane woman. Look at that first panel. Seriously, how many hours of work?

Well, Hades is said to live in a palace or at least some kind of big house in the myths, but it doesn't say much about how it looks like. The design above is all mine idea (well, maybe not exactly mine since I have used the Mycenaean palaces as a model).

Ehehe! I think it took Patrik a whole day to sketch the palace and me a whole day to ink it.

Ah, alright. Well, it's a cool design anyway, it suits Hades. :)

I love your drawing style! If I'd ever even try to accomplish something like this I'd feel really burned out. It's amazing how you can keep the same height of quality in every single page.

Keep at it! :meow:

Why, thank you! I'm glad you like the comic. I'm just doing one page a week, so there's no danger I'll burn myself out.

Oh, I will! :D

I'm sure I've already said this, but I love the way you draw textures and shading <3

Well, I don't mind hearing it again. <3

Asarea's right, there's so much lovely detail! It must have taken you so long!

And poor little confused girl! It's like Plato's Theory of the Cave! Thank goodness Hermes is there for her.

It took some time, alright. But the pencil sketch of the building was made by my friend, so at least I was spared that work. I just added the characters and the decorative patterns. But the inking... That surely took its time.

Yes, she was really lucky Hermes came by. She could have wandered around on earth forever.

It's a really wonderful collaborative effort; and well done on all the inking!

Poor girl! That would have been horrible for her!
