Daddy's Girl 19

This was not an easy page. First of all, I had to come up with a good design for the great hall. I didn't want to make it just a copy of the geat hall in the palace of the Underworld in "A God Apart From Gods", and that made things a little tricky since that is the typical Mycenaean throne room and the trone room in the palace of Knossos wasn't big and fancy enough. So this is a mix of Mycenaean throne rooms, the throne room in the palace of Knossos and interiors of temples from the Classical period.

Obviously there was a small meeting of some sort going on when Athena stepped into the hall. From left to right in the first panel:

Poseidon (He has always been difficult to find a good design for. No matter how I draw him he always end up boring and lifeless, except for when I drew him as a "teenager" in "Labyrinths". Oh, well. He's not an important character in this comic anyway.)

Zeus

Hera

Iris (the winged girl) - Messenger (this is before Hermes, you know) and Hera's handmaiden.

Themis - Titan goddess of divine law and order and ex-wife of Zeus. Hera doesn't mind that she stays on Olympus as scribe and counsellor.
