Poor Poseidon. He just wants to drink and gossip.

Eos, goddess of dawn, liked to kidnap pretty, young men and make them her lovers. But the problem with mortals is that they don't stay young for long. Zeus granted her wish to make one of them, Tithonos, immortal, but since she forgot to also ask for eternal youth, Tithonos kept ageing until he was a senile old man. Eos then left him in a room of her palace and shut the doors. In my version, something went wrong in the process when she made him immortal.

Anyway, that the gods have made their favourites immortal more than once, was the last thing Hades needed to hear.
