I recently heard this song "masturbation generation" and it unavoidably made me think of the god Hermes.
Why? First of all, the philosopher Diogenes once told a story that Hermes was the one that invented masturbation. He later taught it to his son Pan, who was hot for a girl he couldn't get. Pan taught it to the shepherds and the habit spread to all of humanity (or to the men at least. I don't know if female masturbation was included in the story). And second, the name of the group is "Psychopomps". A psychopomp is a creature whose responsibility is to escort newly-deceased souls to the afterlife and Hermes is probably one of the best known psychopomps. What a coincidence! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
