Daddy's Girl 67 by A-gnosis Daddy's Girl 67 by A-gnosis
Finally Zeus has decided to start looking for his wife (maybe it was the scarf that did it?).

Here is Themis again. You maybe remember her from page 19 [link] . Scribe, counsellor, owner of the oracle at Delphi and Zeus's ex-wife (and, yeah, she's his aunt too). I imagine that there never was any romantic feelings between them and that their present relationship is quite uncomplicated.

And Hestia speaks! When Hestia has said something, there is no point in making objections. Then that is just how it is.

It's kinda forboding, I mean when she never speaks.

It's funny, I don't know if Percy Jackson came up before, ro after this comic....but their Hestia is similar to yours. Quiet, keeps to herself, no one notices, but she is the ROCK that keeps them stable.

Hestia is a very lovable character. It's a shame she's so introverted that she never has any bigger role in the story.

So, Zeus is finally going to find Hera? This is going to be awkward (especially since Athene will be there), 'cause it's Zeus and Hera, and Hades is going to help Athene...eventually (because he's a slow and steady sort of a god). Nice update, that!

Yeah, this trip is going to be a bit awkward in ways that none of them didn't quite expect.

Hestia has spoken, YOU MUST OBEY.

Why do I get the feeling that this isn't going to end well? (The Zeua-Athena quest thing, I mean.)

YOU BETTER.

Maybe because Zeus is involved? Ever since he stepped into this story he hasn't done much good.

So who needs his help? Hera or Athena? (Or possibly Pallas? XD) I'm guessing Athena. Also, Hades might need an extra dose of that headache medicine.

Yeah, Hestia is referring to Athena. And, yes, Hades might need an extra dose of that medicine. Things will probably not go as smoothly as he hopes.

that's all well and good Zeus, but did you have to drag Athena into it? You're just gonna piss off Hera more =/

Yes, Zeus should take care of his own problems, even if Athena doesn't mind to tag along (she probably sees it as partly her fault that Hera left and if she could help to set things back to "normal", she would have made up for the whole thing).

Considering Hera's temper though, Athena should probably hang back just a bit <.<

Hestia speaks!

I love the quiet sense of understanding that exists between Hestia and Hades.

It's a shame that Hestia doesn't appear more often in the story. She's very likable but she's even more withdrawn than Hades. And It was also a bit too bad that Hera disappeared from the scene pretty quickly, since I actually like to draw her (though I knew that that just had to happen. If she didn't have that fit of rage, she wouldn't have been Hera. And she will come back towards the end).

Yeah, I love her. I guess she wouldn't quite be Hes if she spoke more, though, and I love her smile. It says so much. I'm sure Hera shall return, and I can't wait to see her! Where is the comic in the arc at the moment?

Well, the comic will be more than 100 pages long, that's for sure. I can't tell you exactly how many pages, since I don't have any detailed script for the whole story. We might be halfway through it by now.

Yay Themis ^_^ . I love the clothing designs you use for the characters/gods. Is there much source material for it? And, as always, love the art/story/everything XD .

Thank you! ^^
Well, there is quite much source material for women's clothes in the Minoan and Mycenaean art (but of course the only women depicted are priestesses, goddesses and upper class women), but not as much for men's clothes. So sometimes I take some liberties and borrow stuff from other periods. I've also looked quite much at the clothes designs in the comic "Age of Bronze" by Eric Shanower (it tells the story of the Trojan war and takes place during the Mycenaean period. And he is very good at historical research).
